Keep Lancing Safe

Keep Lancing Safe is a multi-agency group, which includes parish and district councillors, Adur & Worthing Council's Safer Communities, Adur Neighbourhood Watch and Lancing Community Panel. The group was initially set up to focus on Monks Recreation Ground and the community's perception around drug taking, drinking and anti-social behaviour by groups of young people that were believed to assemble around the area of the toilet block, terrorise members of the public, and make the Village a 'no-go' area after dark. The Group's focus has since expanded to cover the whole of Lancing, but it continues to work together to make Lancing feel safer for its community.

Lancing Vision Group

Lancing Vision Group acts as a place group for the West Adur Capital Project Group within Adur District Council. LVG, whilst Parish-led, is made up of representatives from all parts of the community who referred back to the Lancing Vision Document (2012) and selected projects to further improve the village centre. Below is the report outlining the consultation results and subsequent action log.
