Lancing Parish Council have been busy planning a weekend of events to celebrate the Coronation of HM King Charles III

Saturday 6th May

Live Screening of the Coronation from 10am
Join us at Lancing Parish Hall to watch a historic live screening of the Coronation of King Charles III.
The coronation service will start at 11am, but you are welcome to come along from 10am to watch the start of the procession.
Refreshments will be available.

Lighting of the Beacon – Lancing Beach Green

7.30pm – LPC Chairman welcomes

3rd / 5th Sea Scouts & Lancing Guides Parade from The Perch and Form in front of the Beacon
Village Crier reads Royal Declaration
Father Felix & Father Ian read a prayer
8.45pm – Lighting of the Beacon
8.45pm – Fireworks from 3rd/5th Sea Scouts Boat set off

Sunday 7th May

Street Party – Lancing Parish Hall / Chester Avenue 11.30am – 3.30pm
Bring a picnic and join your neighbours, friends and family together to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
We will have a range of entertainment including Lancing Brass Band, Matthew English, Magician, facepainter, garden games, art & craft activities, ice cream van, charity stalls.
Evensong at St Michaels & All Angels Church 4.00pm
Finish off the weekend of celebrations with an special Evensong at St Michaels & All Angels church.
